After making the Moto E3 available in the UK, the company has now launched a slightly more powerful version of the same in Hong Kong. Known as the Moto E3 Power, the handset features the same internals as the Moto E3, but with a massive 3,500mAh battery underneath, thus explaining the name.

The Moto E3 Power also has increased RAM and internal storage compared to the standard variant, so it's a pretty big upgrade. The handset is currently listed in Hong Kong for HKD 1,098 or Rs 9,500 (approx). Given the hardware on board, a pricing of under Rs 10,000 doesn't seem too steep for the Moto E3 Power.

Strangely, Moto or Lenovo have not made an official announcement regarding the Moto E3 Power, and have started selling the device directly. This makes us skeptical about the listing, although it seems to be pretty authentic. Will the Moto E3 Power ever see the light of the day in India? Well, we don't see why not, given the kind of hardware it's packing. There's quite a lot of demand for big battery phones in India, so it will seem like a missed opportunity if the company doesn't release the device in the country.

Moto E3 Power hardware specs include:

Display : 5-inch HD (1280x720) display
CPU :1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor
Cameras : 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera
Storage : 16GB storage (expandable via microSD)
Software : Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
Battery : 3,500mAh battery
Connectivity : 4G LTE with dual-SIM support
